So I don’t want to get too excited yet - but it actually looks like it’s 
working.  I don’t get any connection errors from startup, I show a local 
socket, and the remote nut shows the Sun machine as a client !

[root@ss20 ~]# netstat -an | grep ESTAB | grep 3493
192.168.64.31.32789  192.168.64.30.3493   64057      0 24820      0 ESTABLISHED

root@pi-esx:/home/pi# upsc -c ups | grep 192.168.64.31
Init SSL without certificate database
192.168.64.31

One thing I do notice (not the end of the world) - I get nothing in syslog for 
upsmon now.  I had logs previously on the non-working builds…

I suppose I’ll test a shutdown to make sure the Sun machine behaves as 
expected.  I did remember to change SHUTDOWNCMD from the Linux command to the 
proper one for Solaris.
