Hi, I recently bought a Liebert (Vertiv) PSA5 knowing it was incompatible with NUT, but the price was so compelling, I did it anyway. I was going to use their PowerAssist app on Linux and use SNMP to make it communicate with the devices I need to shutdown, but I did not read the release notes well enough to find out that their Linux client does not support SNMP. I refuse to buy a small windows machine to get SNMP for all of my other devices to use the UPS, so I just have a simple topology question.
I already have a small APC in one of the rooms in the house and if I hook it to my QNAP NAS via USB while the power is running through the PSA5, it will still behave the way I want since the APC will tell it OB/OL and I want everything to immediately shutdown when power is out over 1 minute anyway..? Thnaks for any info and insight! -Greg
