Thanks Charles! You're absolutely right my man. I never even noticed
the missing IP4 address! How bizarre.

I've now assigned an IPV4 address of 127.0.0.1 to lo0, restarted the
nut ups driver and upsd daemon and now everything is working fine. :-D

Thanks so much for helping out with my domestic blindness on this cool
morning here in New Zealand :-)
