no, amen is fine, and working for me for some years now. it's now working and propagated... > [...] > > > > Finally, I'm still sad to see an APC as a NUT demo ;-p > > Is there still so much hostility between MGE and APC, even after the > merger? ;-) > > Bruce has a standing offer to give us something back. That's an MGE UPS device. > Granted, not an MGE OPS unit either, but at least it gets the first three > characters right... :-) the point is there: which MGE are we talking about? what was once called MGE UPS Systems is under final destruction to the profit of APC. what was the essence of MGE for NUT/FLOSS is what is now called MGE Office Protection Systems (and somehow Powerware and Eaton). And yes, there is a lot of hostility from them, and I'm personnaly sad to see what Schneider has done to MGE and my ex colleagues (and still friends)! And also what APC (+MGE) has (not) done for FLOSS... But that's a personal opinion. Sure, I would still prefer to see those 3 letters from Bruce' setup though ;-) Arnaud -- Linux / Unix Expert R&D - MGE Office Protection Systems - http://www.mgeops.com Network UPS Tools (NUT) Project Leader - http://www.networkupstools.org/ Debian Developer - http://people.debian.org/~aquette/ Free Software Developer - http://arnaud.quette.free.fr/ _______________________________________________ Nut-upsuser mailing list [email protected] http://lists.alioth.debian.org/mailman/listinfo/nut-upsuser
