well, no need. I've just committed it to the git repository:
http://anonscm.debian.org/gitweb/?p=collab-maint/nut.git;a=commit;h=968d86eb0288513a6b39e3ee22de399b21f10296

so it will be available in Debian at the next upload, and in Ubuntu at the
next sync...
