Well, not sure. I basically used the code snippet off of the feed parser site, and then wrote my own FeedParserListenerImpl, in order to store the internal RSS Channel and RSS Item models which are parsed from the RSS file. So, when I think about it now, I'd say that the answer is no, because when my rss parser is called in Nutch, I am given a "Content" object, which has the raw data taken from the requested resource by Nutch. Then I send the byte data from the content to the feedparser, so I don't think I'm using the commons-feedparser IO layer. Thanks!
