To not lose these plugins I would love to suggest, using the wiki page
'plugin central' a place to 'store' the plugins, so users can download

We should avoid keeping multiple copies, as they'll get out of sync. An
alternative might be to keep these in JIRA, but stored in such a way
that a single query can retrieve them all. That way there's only one
copy, which makes things easier to manage. Or we could post the patch
to the wiki and just add a link to JIRA.
