A script that automates repetitive tasks would be great. The only reason I haven't gone beyond just playing with Nutch is because it requires a number of steps which require dynamic input, and I haven't had time to automate repetitive steps. If you have something, I'd be interested.
I've recently added a 'crawl' command which makes intranet-type things quite simple with Nutch. I haven't yet written any documentation for it, but intend to soon. But pretty much all that you have to do is specify some url regexps and then give a 'crawl' command.
