There was a discussion in the mailing list some months ago and someone was announcing to do that.
Just browse the archive and send this guy a mail if you wish to ask him if he finished something we can start.


I personal would found it good in case we can define here as well an extension point (short xpoint) since we can plugin synonym dictionaries here as well. (Wordnet for example.)
