Not at all surprising, since JSP's compile into servlets :))

I had done some stress tests with jmeter:
100 threads a 10 queries:
Average:
Jsp: 1534
Servlet: 1185
Rate:
Jsp: 34.3/sec
Servlet: 34.7/sec
So i will stop here and will not contribute a patch since there are
more important improvements then 1,16 % more speed in the ui. ;/
