Regarding nutch, I especially interested in using it as a framework for experiments and
developing, analyzing and implementing its ranking and structuring algorithms (due to
my more mathematical/theoretical background especially the first two). This leads to
my main question:
Actually some of us are meeting Doug Cutting in Berlin on Friday Evening. Since i know Illmenau isn't only 4 hours from Berlin feel free to join us.
Anyway last weeks a plugin mechanism was implemented that's tries to fit the need to just plug other functionality in nutch.
If you will browse the mail archive you will find a set of informations about this. If you need a plug where you wish to plug-in your work, please alert it in the mailing list and I'm sure people will support you.
