I think this is turning into very big spam.MozDex is creating a bad image of nutch. First they stole nutch credit and also collected donation based on nutch and open source status, which do not exist. There is no open source code of MozDex.
They also are collecting money on other open source projects like jakarta project. I am sure Jakarta team don't know about this.
Nutch is new and is not well known at this time so mozDex tries to confuse users as mozDex is the open source project and offers "which also explains ranking".
They also started many articles under "Building a Search Engine" . In reality they have done nothing and used nutch team hard work.
They also posted on many forums that it is very expensive to run Nutch and discourage other users from using it and other hand they always post for help on Nutch list.
Just search for "mozDex" on search engine you will find lot of article which shows moxDex is open source search engine (there is no source code from mozDex) .
Nutch community must take action and stop this growing spam or nutch will become part of it.
