Carrot2 worked well on my tomcat server,but on WebSphere,It will lead the appserver to exit.So I disabled it on Websphere.
Are you sure it's because of the plugin? Can you provide any more info about that? We're not using System.exits anywhere, so the behaviour you're describing it slightly odd to me.
