Okay, so I'm starting to get my feet wet. Chances are *some* formatting or
URLs might not resolve and may have to be manually ported over. But from
what I see a script should be able to do 80-90% of the move.

For starters, these are the pages that will be ported -- I know a few user
pages are there, but I am being sensitive to others :-)...and it's not much
work if its going thru a script. But, it may make sense to remove those that
are inactive.

So, can someone check and see if I'm missing something:

A current dump of the twiki content is at:

http://nutch.sourceforge.net/twiki.tar.gz

The pages here need to be converted from twiki markup to moin markup.
There are a lot of pages that don't need to be converted, like all of the
user pages, and the built-in Twiki documentation, etc. So a selection
should be made before you translate.

Then the converted pages need to be posted to the new wiki. Looking at the
HTML, it looks like this can be done by POSTing the new content for page XXX
to http://wiki.apache.org/nutch/XXX#preview as the "savetext"
parameter. You probably need to first GET
http://wiki.apache.org/nutch/XXX?action=edit in order to lock the page and
to find some of the other parameters (like maybe "rev"). Some quick
experiments should resolve this.

Thanks for giving this a try!

Doug
