Yes, many other thing as well. The only concern was if commons-httpclient has sufficient performance - this still needs to be tested. The feature-set is certainly impressive, and see,s perfectly suited to our needs. E.g. MultiThreadedHttpConnectionManager translates directly to the way our Fetcher works.
