I tried changing the nutch skin by following the instructions on the "i18n"
page for translating the nutch documentation into other languages.
While I could see that some of the pages were being changed inside nutch
directories; the copies placed in the tomcat ROOT directory were never
updated. For instance, if I change:

    nutch/src/web/pages/en/about.xml

running Ant generates a new version of

    nutch/docs/en/about.html

I stopped tomcat and deleted the tomcat/webapps/ROOT directory
When I restart tomcat, it installs a new version of the ROOT directory, BUT
it is populated with the original versions of the files.

Are the documents built into the war file? Does it need to be recreated?

It seems like it should be possible to separate the design of the pages
from the search engine so that people can match the look and feel of nutch
to their own websites.

I am experimenting with a fresh install of nutch on a windows xp pro server
with Tomcat 4.1, and Ant 1.6
