Now that google is going for a public company with
billions on stock capital there is no way the
investment community would let this happen.

You have to remember that the guys that could have
opened it up only own 16% of the company.  Just enough
to ask the question and be laughed at.

Google has already been hard at work patenting
technologies.. so unless they do what IBM does by
patenting the technology so no one else will and
putting it into public domain i don't see it
happening.
