looks like my mail about this issue never reach this list.
Mrs Bettin ( http://www.g-bettin.de/rsvgn/rs_dok/0,,63924,00.htm ) from the green party might be one of the biggest campaigners.I had written to Mrs Bettin and give her some more informations about nutch.
Furthermore i said that it isnt sensefull to run a search engine distributed in p2p style as we allready discussed in the developer list.
She didn't answer yet.
