Hello Marco,
Optimizing an index may take some time. Please be patient - just check
if indexing process is using CPU and the number of files in index
directory is decreasing over time - if so process is moving in the
right direction. You can play with indexing parameters in
nutch-default.xml (in fact you should overwrite the in nutch-site.xml)
to try to speed thing up.
