Nguyen, Thanks for the reply. However everyone keeps mentioning catalina.sh but I don't have one on my system. I think this is due in part to the fact that I installed tomcat5. Seemed logical to install version 5 because yum was already setup to install it. Rather, I have been going to my ROOT directory and executing /usr/bin/tomcat5 start.
