It was not even necessary to modify the searcher.dir entry in my
nutch-site.xml file.
Please note that configuration files are loaded in this order:
nutch-default.xml, nutch-site.xml mapred.xml .
So you can overwrite configuration values in nutch-site.xml that you
had defined in the nutch-default.xml.
