Hi It depends upon the system which you use
In linux you can write a shell script and put it in cron I dont have one such yet We can probably contribute this to nutch if you write one .It should also be used somewhere in the group. Maybe some other groups members can help you out with a ready made script (if they have one) .But this is not a big task . Just write the command and schedule it in cron Rgds Prabhu On 2/2/06, Thomas Sondergaard <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Raghavendra Prabhu wrote: > > >Hi > > > > > >There are two ways you can do it > > > >1)Either repeat the whole crawl process > > or > >2)What you have to do is from the webdb ,generate segments and fetch it > >.Then you have to update the db and recreate index > > > >There is no way you can update the index directly.Generate segments and > >fetch the new segments and recreating the index is the way to update > > > >You have to repeat the steps. > > > >Rgds > >Prabhu > > > > > > Is there a script that you can simply configure as a script somewhere? >
