This probably doesn't help, but if you *did* build nutch from a
subversion checkout, the war file would be in the build directory
instead of the nutch-0.8 directory.  The tutorial doesn't explain
this.  I know it doesn't help in your case, but maybe it will help
someone else with a similar problem searching the email archives.
