I've just started to monitor my slave nodes with ntop and munin.
I haven't found good examples/docs of how to configure ntop to be able
to get the network load for external traffic and for internal traffic,
separately. I get the overall network traffic graph and pie charts by
traffic type or things like that but it doesn't help me to see how much
traffic generates the fetcher.

Basically I am just trying to see the actual network load for the
fetcher and the network load because of hadoop and communications
between nodes.

Between munin and ntop, there is a lot of numbers there! Wow..

Could somebody share his/her experience with ntop (and munin) and
eventually the config?
That would be very helpful!

Thanks

J.
