I've been using:
<regex>
<pattern>;jsessionid=[^=\?/\&]+$</pattern>
<substitution></substitution>
</regex>
<regex>
<pattern>;jsessionid=[^=\?/\&]+(\?.*)</pattern>
<substitution>$1</substitution>
</regex>
which seems to work. I've never seen ?jsessionid= or &jsessionid=
only ;jsessionid=
