I am new to nutch/lucene but not to Java. I was able to make nutch
work using the nice tutorial. I am at a loss however at how to go
about actually doing crawls. Forgive me if these questions sound really
ignorant. Perhaps someone could hit me with a clue brick (URL) ?
Anyway, let say I wanted to create a search engine for a vintage
Chevy Corvette site. How would I be able to customize a crawl in order
to fill (inject?) my search engine with the kinds of relevant pages
I'd like to display? Is there any docs on the search algorithm of nutch? How does it compare to the big search engines we all know and
use?
I have more questions but I will stop for now till I get the above questions answered.
