I'm looking for a freelance Nutch developer who can do a smallish job for
me - customising our Nutch intranet search engine.
I can prepare some mockups - it will be pretty basic. I need someone to do
the php part, and style the results pages.
If anyone is interested, please drop me a line.
Thanks,
Dean

Subject: Re: Is NutchBean Class Thead/Process-Safe?
I thought about that too, but isn't it inefficent to
have both php and jsp and tomcat and java running when
I can have just php and java running? Maybe I can
check for existing of index and segments inside
nutchbean, so that it doesn't create them again for
each new nutchbean?
Where can I find more about how to use opensearch with
Nutch?
Many thanks.

Don't use php-java bridge - use OpenSearch servlet
to get RSS with
results, and then parse RSS using PHP; the servlet
container will cache
NutchBean for you.
