Stefan:

Your docs are good as it is. But only if you want to be the best then
you gotta :-).....do....

You could improve your tutorial by adding or modifying the following places.

1. You mention vaguely about having same user/pass for all the 3
machine. I think it would be good idea to put some emphasis on this.
If you just follow your answer to the mailing list you will find how
important this is. I suggest you add things where it is clear that the
userid for all the boxes are Nutch and they can SSH or login between
the machine.

2. Your Jira issue

http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NUTCH-102

about webapps folder being under the / for jobtracker to run. Should
be mentioned in the docs. Well its actually a bug but if the bug is
not fixed then mentioned in the docs. Its not really your docs fault
but sorry the bug is not fixed so ...

3. Its important to mention how to write .slaves.sh same goes for
search-servers.txt file as well as nutch-site.xml <search.dir>
parameter. It is important to clarify that a. what ndfs directory it
should point too.. if fs.datanode is not "local" then explain why and
how ndfs by default assume /user/nutch??? Do you know why NDFS assume
a directory structure /user/nutch or /user/xxx etc..

4. You move around between NDFS and local file system it will be
better if you could just focus on local or NDFS.

5. When it comes to invertlinks I never had to mentioned the segment
name.. when I do it shoots out error msg.

6. To make the tutorial complete it is important to hook-up tomcat
related issue, (i.e touch web.xml moving the .war file etc..) so that
the user can see the end result after search. Offcourse you have
chopped up the tutorial into various section but 0.7 is completely
different then 0.8. So you need to have either a 0.8 tutorial or 0.7
tutorial. Don't mix this up.

7. It would also be good to mention things like -du and -ls bugs that
NDFS has in your tutorial.

Stefan don't get me wrong! As I mentioned your tutorial is the best
out there so above are my way of looking at things.....
