I am going to switch from Nutch 0.6 to the latest version of Nutch and have a
few questions regarding it.
- Does map reduce have any benefits in comparison with the old version if I
just have a single server?
- After I run the crawler it creates segments and index, but it also creates
lots of files under the D:\tmp\nutch\mapred directory (I am using Windows).
Does Nutch deletes these files or I will have to write my own app that will
delete the files?
