Hi Guys I would like to understand the difference between nutch-0.7 and nutch-0.8
Is there any other difference other than map reduce ? What i would like to know is the reason for new things like linkdb and other things .Do these provide any new additional functionality or are there just for the sake of mapreduce. What i would like to know is if it implements any better functionality in terms of ranking ,parsing outlinks. Will the end result ranking be the same if i crawl a list of sites with both nutch-0.7 and nutch-0.8 Rgds Prabhu
