I get the same thing from my linux box.  The only reference I can find 
to linkmap.html is a commented out line in forrest.properties.

FWIW: I've already made the changes to my copy of mailing_lists.xml.  Let me 
know if you want me to just send someone that.

        I grabbed the trunk from svn and went into src/site and tried running 
forrest.  After a bunch of copying, validating, etc. I got the following error:

        Does that ring any bells for anyone?  This was on a Mac OS X 10.4.4 
machine.  I'm going to give it a shot on a Linux box and see if I have any 
better luck.
