Let me clarify a bit more about application.

We are planning to build vertical search engine.

Our company has very specific domain knowledge in the
area, so we will have our own ontology to improve
search results.

Also, since we will be indexing only the sites we care
about each site will have an authority index which
will be part of the scoring.

Indexing will be done on different types of documents
but majority of them will be html, pdf, MS word.

We are still in design phase for how search will be
performed and display but the idea is the following:
1. User types search query
2. We know context of the keyword in the query so we
can use our ontology to construct combination query.
3. Results in our case can be shown several ways –
traditional (high score to low score) or since we know
context of the search and purpose of the search we can
show results aggregated from different type of
resources, where resource type sorted by authority and
result set in each result type sorted based on score
(I hope it is clear)

Thanks in advance
