I am thinking of compiling eyed3 module using jythonc and creating a custom mp3
nutch parser to use this. Your comments regarding this approach.

No real solution, I tried to do this for awhile. jid3lib is just not
very good or well maintained. And i could not find any other good
java id3 parsers. I am currently doing this outside of nutch using
eyeD3 in python, which works well.
