NUTCH-442, NUTCH-559 and NUTCH-566: I am pretty sure that these will
be resolved before 1.0. I have been lagging on NUTCH-442 but I will
start working on it very soon. NUTCH-559 is mostly ready, but Susam
(who wrote the patch) and I discussed a more flexible host/realm
specification scheme. I haven't looked at NUTCH-566 in detail yet, but
it looks good after a quick scan.

NUTCH-427: IIRC, this patch relies on a external library whose license
is not compatible with Nutch's APL (correct me if I am wrong). So this
will have to stay as an external plugin.
