I have few questions, other than that looks good to me.
1.) Can you elaborate more about data service object model ? how do you plan to
address different data models of cloud platforms ?
2.) Did you consider about asynchronous data services ? Both GAE and Amazon
support for asynchronous data services.
3.) Did you identify possible 3rd party dependencies for this project ? Since
we use Maven as a build system IMO better to use dependencies available on
public M2 repos. Also consider about their licenses please refer this [1].
