Maria, 

While it might not be necessary to run the complete IEEE802.1Qbg's VDP between 
TES and NVE, the functionalities and attributes defined by IEEE802.1Qbg's VDP 
would be valuable to the TES/NVE attach/detach. 
I can understand that XMPP protocol might be used to pass those needed 
attributes.
