NVO3 Mailing List Contributors - Over the past week, Matthew and I have been getting a large number of administrative messages from the NVO3 mailing list software. Almost all of these are "approval required" messages because either 1) the sender includes the [email protected] address in the To or CC line, and/or 2) the sender includes too many recipients. Either of these conditions will cause the message to be held in moderation pending our approval.
As a result, I'd like to ask everybody to do two things when posting to the NVO3 mailing list. First, make sure to remove [email protected] address from all messages. This is an error-catching mailbox, designed to process bounce messages and automatically unsubscribe dead email addresses etc. Second, remove any recipients (on the To and CC lines) that are already subscribed to the NVO3 mailing list. Only include additional recipients if they aren't subscribed to [email protected]. Please note: messages held in moderation may be "approved" or "rejected" at the chairs' discretion. Until now essentially all messages have been approved, and the sender has gotten a message from me explaining what happened. But in the near future we will begin rejecting most messages without notice - exceptions will be made at our discretion, e.g. for new subscribers. Thanks for your cooperation. Cheers, -Benson & Matthew _______________________________________________ nvo3 mailing list [email protected] https://www.ietf.org/mailman/listinfo/nvo3
