I don't think I agree - what if the user has connected to an AP that while open
w.r.t. authentication, it has MAC filtering enabled - so really they are not
connected... Or maybe I'm misunderstanding how this works and it wouldn't catch
it at this level, but would have to be deferred to the DHCP level...
