there does not appear to be any code in ncu_ip.c for setting IPv6 static
addresses, or comparing the existing set of addresses on an IP interface to the
set of to-be-configured addresses, etc. Forthcoming push will mark such areas
as XXX IPv6 in comments. As far as I can see, the IPv6 configuration story is
pretty limited at this stage, combined with bug 9149 there is a lot to be done
here before things will work right as far as I can see.
