NWAM West: 8:30AM MPK/11:30AM BUR/4:30PM DUB

Attendees: Darren, Michael, Nita, Victor, Anurag, Alan, Renee

1. Phase 1 development status: see task wiki at
   http://wikis.sun.com/display/NWAM/P1+Dev+Task+Status.

   * Anurag's rename/destroy tasks: will not allow destroy of active profiles.
Changes to active profiles will be allowed. Also discussed batching of
commits; will look at adding a "don't react to this change yet, there's
more coming" flag to the commit operation, and an "okay, refresh now"
operation to the API for when the ui has a series of changes (to all the
NCUs in and NCP, for example) to commit.

   * Signal handler thread: will remove use of libinetutil, revert to timer/
signal handling approach from phase 0/0.5 daemon. Alan will take care
     of this.

2. Project admin issues
   * PSARC: Commitment review scheduled for 3/18; docs will need to be done
     by 3/11 (next Wednesday).

   * Docs moving along, Nita working with Calum and Darren; Nita plans to have
first draft of online help template complete tomorrow.

   * Test hardware: please update the wiki with any equipment you'll be able
     to test on (http://wikis.sun.com/display/NWAM/Test+Hardware).

NWAM East: 5:00PM MPK/9:00AM BJS

Attendees: Lizhong, Alex, Eric, John, Renee

1. Test status
   * Lizhong running into problems activating locations; will send out
details after he's collected more data.

   * Alex would like to see more info in the man page about valid values
for properties, in particular for the MTU.

   * Eric brought up the wireless test rig that's available in Beijing;
makes it possible to develop automated tests that require wireless
infrastructure. Alex and Lizhong will have a chance to learn more
about this rig; we should be thinking about ways we might be able
to use it in the future.

2. Meeting time
After the time change in the US this weekend, we will adjust the US
time for the NWAM East meeting to 6PM MPK/9PM BUR; it will continue
   to be 9AM in Beijing.
