This doesn't work:

bash-3.2# nwamcfg
nwamcfg> create enm myenm1
Created enm 'myenm1'. Walking properties ...
activation-mode (manual) [manual|conditional-any|conditional-all]>
fmri>
start> /tmp/1
stop> /tmp/2
nwamcfg:enm:myenm1>
nwamcfg:enm:myenm1> end
Commit error: could not bind to backend server
Configuration not saved; really end (y/[n])?
nwamcfg:enm:myenm1> end
nwamcfg:enm:myenm1>
Configuration not saved; really quit (y/[n])?

The nwamd and netcfgd are alive.

bash-3.2# ptree | grep netcfgd
1411 /lib/inet/netcfgd
bash-3.2# ptree | grep nwamd
1108 /lib/inet/nwamd
