Lizhong, do you see the same result every time you bfu? Or do you see
different problems,
but the bfu always fails? Or are you sometimes able to bfu successfully? What
happens on
subsequent reboots?
I have not seen the same issues you reported, but I have seen problems with the
7/23 and
7/24 builds--the ones that have run since we merged with nv_120.
One problem I've seen has to do with an acr failure; it turns out that if acr
fails on any of
the files in its list, it stops processing, and does not merge any other files.
So if the failure
occurs before /etc/passwd and /etc/group have been merged on a bfu of nwam
bits, you
will have lots of weird problems on reboot, as the userids and groupids that
nwam relies
on will not be there.
I've also seen manifest import issues, which seem to match with the description
in the CR
Alan mentioned (in comment #9). The odd thing is that that CR was supposed to
have
been fixed in 120, and we seem to be seeing it in the builds *since* our merge
with 120,
not before. It could be a mismerge, we need to investigate that.
