I'm still seeing this problem. It seems like after a certain amount of time
after the BFU starts (maybe when NWAM triggers a periodic check of things),
nwam just tears down the entire network configuration. You end up in a state
like this:

...
Entering post-bfu protected environment (shell: ksh).
Edit configuration files as necessary, then reboot.

bfu# acr (hangs)
^Cbfu# /usr/sbin/nwamadm list
TYPE PROFILE STATE
ncp Automatic online
 ncu:phys e1000g0 uninitialized
 ncu:ip e1000g0 uninitialized
 ncu:phys e1000g1 uninitialized
 ncu:ip e1000g1 uninitialized
 ncu:phys e1000g2 uninitialized
 ncu:ip e1000g2 uninitialized
 ncu:phys e1000g3 uninitialized
 ncu:ip e1000g3 uninitialized
loc Automatic offline
loc NoNet online
loc Legacy offline

This may be caused by the fact that the dldmgmt daemon is stopped at this
point, so nwamd can't get any information about the interfaces?
