1. Phase 1 ON development status See the task wiki: http://wikis.sun.com/display/NWAM/P1+Dev+Task+Status Current target is for dev complete on 4/17. 2. Question about ncu states, as reported by nwamadm; what's seen on recent build doesn't make sense. Not surprising! Anurag pushed a chunk of code dealing with that yesterday, so future builds should show more sensible behavior there. There are some remaining pieces (the NCU state transitions cleanup task on the wiki), but those will come after the wireless code has gone in, likely middle of next week. Additional info on what the states mean also needs to be added to the nwamadm man page. 3. CR 6822799: this is fundamentally an RFE for a feature (support for multiple active interfaces) that will be provided by phase 1. Need to figure out how to manage this issue in the 2009.06 time frame; Renee will follow up with opensolaris team members. NWAM East: 6:00PM MPK/9:00AM BJS Attendees: Michael, Lizhong, Alex, John, Renee 1. Test dev status: currently running into problems with nwamadm. NCU activation is likely to be problematic still, as there is missing functionality; but location activation should be working. Please report problems as you see them, so we can track down what's going wrong. 2. Activation condition logic tests: most will be in the wired tests that John is working on, but some will need to be in the wireless section. 3. Can locations depend on activation of other locations? Concern about falling into weird oscillations if configuration is being created on the fly. Definitely need to test nwam's behavior in these cases. 4. nwamcfg man page updated: includes notes about read-only properties (all that are read-only have a note to this effect), mtu validation, and the valid scopes for each subcommand. -renee
