I suspect when you did this nwam was not enabled?  The only constraint I found
on what locations would be destroyed by the 'destroy -a' command was that the
*active* location could not be destroyed; so if nwam is not enabled, all
locations are destroyed.  If nwam is enabled, all but the active one will be
destroyed (so if a user-created location is active, the Automatic and NoNet
will be destroyed).

This behavior is as intended; but I'm wondering if that might have some bad
side effects; in particular, if there is no Automatic location, there's no
"if all else fails, use this one" location.
