testcase:-
1. with cable connected to i/f, launch nwam-manager-properties
2. disconnect the cable
It takes 1 minute 48 seconds for the status to change from "connected" to
"cable unplugged"
during this time
1. ifconfig -a does not show an entry for e1000g0
2. nwamadm list -x shows ncu:ip and ncu:phys offline
3. selecting "Refresh" in the nwam-manager-properties dialog
does not update the status to "cable unplugged", i.e. after verifying that
nwamadm is showing an offline status
Similarly on plugging the cable in
nwamadm list -x shows an online state and ifconfig -a shows an entry for
e1000g0
again selecting refresh, the status does not update to connected.
It takes approx 3 minutes for the correct status to be displayed in the network
preferences dialog.
