gnome2.26 snv_117 installed on U20.
BFU to 2009-06-25, nwam ui packages 2009-06-16


1. launch nwam-manager-properties.
2. select a wired connection e.g. nge0.
3. in current ipv4 setting, select the drop down list, select "Manually
assigned"

4. In "Address" enter a character e.g. "1".

expected result, Address editable text box  should remain in edit mode.

actual result
text box displays contents as read only, this in step 4 is not saved.
