The svc.configd crash is a separate issue, unrelated to nwam (CR 6531656).

Could you attach the nwamd core dump, Lin?  We're trying to get our hands on
a core from a relatively recent version of nwamd, and one from the 7-30 build
would be a good candidate.

Regarding the post-bfu updates: are you using acr?  If not, this is expected;
nwam phase 1 introduces new users, groups, and profiles that need to be merged
on upgrade.  BFU does not do this itself; but acr will.  If you are running
acr (and it runs to completion without any failures), and still have to do
some manual updating, that's a bug we need to know about.  Please clarify.
