Looking at the logs for the nwamadm select-wifi case, it seems like you
selected the hidden WLAN directly. The right way to do this (and I'm afraid I
can't test this at my end) should be to select "Other" from the list and enter
the ESSID. There's some bugs in that codepath though that I need to fix, I'm
hoping to get that done today, so with tomorrow's build, try doing something
like the following (this example is for an unsecured hidden WLAN called
"linksys").
# nwamadm select-wifi iwk0
1: ESSID a BSSID a:b:c:d:e:f
2: ESSID b BSSID b:c:d:e:f:a
3: Other
Choose WLAN to connect to [1-3]: 3
Enter WLAN name: linksys
1: None
2: WEP
3: WPA
Enter security mode: 1
