On clicking OK like this, this results in the "edited" signal not being sent,
thus the name never gets changed.

This is actually the correct behaviour of a GtkEntry in a cell like this. The
edited value is never saved unless you press an "Activate" key, which is
usually Enter/Return or Tabbing to another widget - in comparison, clicking on
any other widget will have the same effect, i.e. the value change will be
abandoned.

If this functionality seems wrong then I guess thats a bug in GTK+.

But, we can help a little, in that we can cause the OK button to be
de-sensitized while editing.
